Hotel Gulden Vlies is a small bed and breakfast hotel in a stately mansion from the early 20th century with some unique art-deco architectural details.

A rich variety on the breakfast buffet : fresh fruit, cereals, buns, bread, yoghurt, cold cuts, regional cheeses, coffee, tea, hot chocolate... included in roomrate.

All rooms have ensuite bathroom, hairdryer, radio & tv.

Plenty of free parking in our street, 10 minutes walking form Market square.

The hotel is easy to reach, 10 minutes walking from the marketsquare with plenty of free parking close to the hotel.

The name 'Gulden Vlies' originates from the order of knights that was founded in 1430 by Filips de Goede in Brugge.

'Homely and comfortable hotel. It was extremely clean. The owner was welcoming and friendly and gave excellent information on the city and on a safe route for me to run every morning. The breakfast was amazing and filled us up for the day.Quiet residential location but only 10 minute walk from the city centre and all the attractions.More like a guest house than an hotel but this was in its favour for us as it had more personality than a large faceless hotel.'

Having a heart problem I would like to have known there was no lift to service the 4 floors. The bed room allocated to us on the 4 floor was quickly changed though with no fuss.'
